The research couldn't be clearer. Happier workplaces result in better services, more creative thinking, and increases in both employee and client satisfaction. Creating opportunities to build happiness in workplace settings includes easy-to-implement approaches as well as more significant changes to organizational culture, policies, and practice. This webinar will focus on some of the more readily accessible ways executives,program managers, and direct-service workers within organizations can take to increase their own happiness and the happiness of others around them.
As a result of participating in this webinar, participants will:
Understand the science supporting happiness as a workplace improvement strategy
Learn about and discuss several easier-to-manage techniques that anyone can use to begin to build happiness
Be able to discuss the process organizations can go through to create a culture of happiness as a matter of practice.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Cindy Carraway-Wilson, MA, CYC-P, has over 20 years of experience in the child, youth and family services field. She has extensive experience in program evaluation and outcome measurement, and trains on a variety of topics such as positive youth development, youth participation and asset building, and LGBTQ topics. Before joining Youth Catalytics, she worked as a counselor and mental health therapist in youth-serving settings in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. She is a member of the training cadre for the Innovation Center for Community and Youth Development and a certified trainer from the Academy for Educational Development. She has a master’s degree in psychology from Duquesne University. She lives in Maine with her husband and two Alaskan huskies.
